My client is expanding an office.  Can I match their existing knob trim on the new openings?

This is the type of question that we answer everyday. For answers to technical questions like this, contact your Account Manager.

How can I help my employees learn more about openings?

Trillium offers "Lunch & Learn" seminars on any opening topic you'd like to know more about.  Each session is customized to your needs and can be as formal or casual as you wish.

Does Trillium have a good selection of hardware products?

We deal with every major North American and European hardware manufacturer, so we can get the hardware that is best suited to your project.

What is a Hardware Schedule and why do I need one?

A Hardware Schedule is a document that specifies your project's hardware requirements.  It details the functionality, quality, design and finish for each opening's hardware, sets standards for the products you will use and lists the order in which openings and hardware should be installed.  To learn more, see our On-Line Tutorial or Sample Hardware Schedule.

What does it cost to get a Hardware Schedule from Trillium, and how long does it take?

For small and mid-sized projects, we will write your Hardware Schedule for free, usually by the next day.  Charges and wait times for schedules on larger projects will vary.

If Trillium specifies my hardware but I award the job to another firm, how will I know if I got what you specified?

Even if you have someone else supply and install your openings, you can have Trillium inspect the site upon completion to make sure you got products that match those listed in the Hardware Schedule.

How does Trillium ensure my hardware timelines are met?

We know how important it is to keep your projects running on time.  To make sure you get your hardware when you need it, your Account Manager will help select products that can meet your timelines and proactively gather the information we need to place your order with our suppliers.  Open communication goes a long way to helping keep your projects on track.

What products does Trillium stock for fast shipping?

We have the largest hardware inventory in Canada and hundreds of wood doors in stock for next-day delivery.  Our wood frames can typically ship in two days, and many hollow metal products are ready for quick delivery.  You can also make small purchases of stocked products at our Sales Desk.  Click here for directions.

What if a door isn't closing properly after it has been installed?

If we installed the door, we'll fix it - you only have to place one call.
If we specified the products but didn't install the opening, you can still have Trillium inspect it to identify the cause of the problem so you can have it fixed by the responsible party.

How do I get my order?

You can pick your order up at our Toronto headquarters (directions) or have us deliver to any location in Southern Ontario.  For small orders of stocked items, you can drop by our Customer Order Desk for immediate pick-up.

Can you match my existing handle?

Trillium has access to every line from every major North American and European hardware manufacturer, so if we can't get it, no one can.
